World Watch History (Second Edition)

World Watch History (Second Edition) is revised according to the Pakistan National Curriculum (2022). Along with World Watch Geography (Second Edition), it is an extension of World Watch Social Studies to the lower secondary level. World Watch History (Second Edition) is a comprehensive course that covers the history of ancient civilisations, Islamic empire, European civilisations, empires of the subcontinent, and the history of Pakistan (up till today) in a chronological order. It offers a variety of historical sources to support students’ abilities to assess different kinds of sources and to apply the range of skills necessary to understand the cause-effect relationship of the events that happened in the past. It also develops their skills to apply historical knowledge and historical thinking to contemporary issues.
