Assistant Manager / Junior Manager Finance -- Karachi-based

The Position
TThe office holder shall be responsible for maintenance of head office petty cash, in compliance with the statutory/tax laws and Branch policy requirements. The responsibilities also include assisting in completing the documentation required for imports / exports and various actions in SAP such as daily posting / recording of collection of sales proceeds, cash collection settlements and posting of bank statements. The incumbent would also be responsible for executing petty cash payment requests per local authorization, archiving of import / export / cash management records and preparation of routine reports such as bank reconciliations, cash position summary, cash to sales reconciliations, cash collection summary, other reports as may be required by line manager / management and for audit purposes. The position requires willingness to work in a challenging environment and the incumbent should be ready to assist in various other assignments as may be allocated from time to time.

The Person
The candidate should possess:

  • 1 to 2 years relevant work experience with practical & theoretical knowledge of Finance and Accounting. Candidates having experience with cash management / imports / exports are preferred.
  • University graduate (in business administration / commerce) from a reputable educational institution. Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Impeccable English language skills.
  • Excellent working knowledge of MS Office suite preferably MS Excel.
  • Familiarity with the SAP is a plus.
