Managing Director’s Message

The Oxford Big Read project aims to draw young people towards reading in depth and to reward their effort and interest. A first-of-its-kind initiative, the Oxford Big Read (OBR) was launched across schools five years ago when students who participated in the competition were required to read OUP books and write reviews on them in their own words. The reading content aimed at primary and secondary school students. The book reviews were first judged on the regional level and the finalists then competed at the national level. The reviews were evaluated by a jury comprising educationists, academics, and authors.
