About the role
This role involves managing the customer service team, fostering a culture of excellent customer service, ensuring performance delivery of Order processes, shipping cases, and cash billing across the stakeholders, while efficiently managing the resources, staff well-being, and costs.

The incumbent will lead and optimize workflows and resources to meet key customer service kay performance indicators (KPIs) for over 10,000 trader customers. About the role
This position is responsible for managing the timely production of high-quality English titles in accordance with set budgets. Individual will handle projects from the commissioning stage to sending off the printed books to authors; quality check of manuscripts; coordinate with authors and designers.

This primarily includes all activities associated with proofreading, and editing of content, in terms of plagiarism check, content accuracy, consistence of content, style, grammar, and quality. He/she will be liaising with designers to ensure design briefs, illustrations, layout/format of titles are according to relevant budget/space/time allocations. Individual will liaise with authors and others to determine progress and encourage timely submission of high-quality work.

About you
The successful candidate should possess:

  • A strong school education and relevant Bachelor’s degree in relevant subject; Master’s degree preferred (English Literature, Applied Linguistics, Journalism, CELTA)
  • At least 1 to 2 years’ experience in teaching primary or middle school (Prior experience in publishing – editing, proofreading, and content development will be an added advantage.

About the role
This role is responsible for looking after all assigned digital products from inception to completion. This includes review procedures, quality of language, proofreading and developing content, illustration, and training materials to meet the specific deadlines and schedules.

Key responsibilities include:

    • Conduct in-house review: proof-read and check the consistency of content, style, and quality for digital products (including eBooks) and develop the materials in digital formats.
    • Create storyboards for digital content in collaboration with editors/authors.
    • Conduct user-testing of digital products including consolidation of market feedback.
    • Develop training materials for users of digital products.
