This book is meant to serve as an introduction to human rights for children in their early teens, or younger. It includes the 30 human rights as stated in the United Nations Declaration of Human Rights, rephrased for young readers. It explains what human rights are; it also recounts the evolution of the idea of human rights through a brief history in which some landmarks in the understanding of human rights are highlighted.
