Author Description

Nigar Nazar is the first woman cartoonist of Pakistan and of the Muslim world. Nigar is one of the founding members of the Asian Youth Association for Animators and Cartoonists (AYAAC) with headquarters in Guiyang, China. She is a leading member of the Public Service NGO, STEER (Society for Tolerance, Environment and Education through Recreation). She received the Government of Pakistan’s Fatima Jinnah Award in 2005 for her contribution to Art.
