Where The Rivers Meet
Where the Rivers Meet is an adventure story set along a magical river with an ecology similar to that of the River Indus. Tanya and her three friends take on the power hungry Queen of the Hilsa Shad who wants control of the river. Talking blind dolphins, evil snake fish, and magic portals all play roles in this story of magic and friendship, culminating in a thrilling underwater battle.
Author Description
Saman Shamsie is the author of The Adventures of the Slothful Slough-Off and The Magical Woods. She teaches at Karachi Grammar School where she was educated, and has a Masters from Kings College, London.
