Author Description

Sohaib Alvi has been a cricket writer and broadcaster since 1980. He served as the Editor of The Cricketer International (UK) Asian Edition and has authored four books on ODI and T20 World Cups.

 

Shahid Hashmi is an accidental journalist and writer who originally dreamed of becoming a professional cricketer but was unable to pursue this path after the early death of his parents. Always drawn to sports, he turned to journalism. He has worked for Akhbar-e-Watan, Radio Pakistan, PTV, BBC World Service, SBS Radio Australia, ARY News, and AFP News Agency. He has covered all major events in cricket, hockey, and squash.
