Marketing Director – Karachi
About the role
The incumbent will be responsible for the leadership, strategy development, and management of Marketing for OUP to deliver strong commercial outcomes. As a member of the Senior Management Team, s/he will contribute to the long-term success of OUPP.
This is a demanding role, where you will work across functions and geographies, to contribute to the long-term success of OUP Pakistan.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the execution of demand and lead generation campaigns through various activities and touch-points, digital marketing, and social media.
- Driving strong sales and marketing alignment through management of CRM and marketing technology and data, and processes that support effective customer segmentation, lead management, and customer lifecycle development.

About the role
The incumbent will be responsible for visiting schools, higher education institutes, and other relevant organizations within the assigned region. S/he will be responsible for strengthening relationships with key distributors to maintain and develop new business opportunities. Additionally, they will also develop sales strategies to promote OUP educational resources in the South Zone and provide timely market requirements for relevant textbooks (both local and imported) to ensure an accurate reflection in sales forecasts.

Content Specialist - Mathematics - Karachi
About the role
This position is responsible for independently handling projects from the commissioning stage to management of timely production of high-quality Mathematics titles in accordance with the set budgets as well as sending off the printed books to authors.
The incumbent will be tasked with conducting market research, developing content for exercises, creating teacher resource materials, and aligning content with curricula. S/he will liaise with authors and designers to ensure adherence to publication timelines, coordinate quality checks of manuscripts, and proactively monitor specific schedules. Additionally, s/he will be responsible for calculating accurate costings for each book at relevant stages prior to publication to ascertain profitability.
About you
- A strong school education and relevant Master’s degree.
