Oxford University Press is organizing the Oxford Book Fiesta from 10 to 16 March 2015 at the Karachi Expo Centre. The event offers attractive discounts on a wide range of books for book-lovers, children, libraries, and students and teachers of schools, colleges, and universities.
The book fair features a diverse selection of locally published and imported children's books, school textbooks, dictionaries and reference books, college textbooks, academic and general books, English Language Teaching materials, and digital learning resources. A bargain books section is also present where books at special, reduced prices are available.
A special Reading Corner has been set up where children, parents, and teachers can browse around, select, and read books of their choice in a comfortable environment. Of great interest to the visitors will be the mini museum showcasing Oxford University Press’ rich publishing heritage and milestone publications. As part of the book fair, different activities for children like storytelling, drawing and colouring, word jumble, and maths whiz will also be organized.
