Islamabad, 26 April: At a ceremony held at the Oxford University Press (OUP) Islamabad office, certificates and plaques were awarded to nine regional participating schools of the Oxford Quality programme. These schools have signed a Memorandum of Understanding with OUP Pakistan, as part of their participation in Oxford Quality, based on which the latter will supply a wide range of educational solutions, tailored to each school’s needs and designed to support its educational mission.
Oxford Quality is an agreement between OUP and select schools worldwide who share a commitment to excellence in education. On entering the agreement, each of the participating schools will not only benefit from the use of high quality products, services, and teaching materials but will also receive an exclusive level of consultancy and support from OUP Pakistan for school assessment and creating and upgrading the school library.
Arshad Saeed Husain, Managing Director, Oxford University Press Pakistan, presented plaques and certificates to the participating schools, signifying their enhanced relationship with OUP through Oxford Quality. These schools include Sapient Hall School System, Rawalpindi; Lawrence College, Murree; Rockhill Academy, Choa Saden Shah; Winnington School, Khewra; Amaranth Secondary School, Rawalpindi; St. Deny’s School, Murree; Jinnah Basic School and Girls College, Mansehra; Pyramids School and College, Muzaffarabad; and St. Mary’s High School, Peshawar.
During a period of one year, each school will work in close collaboration with OUP Pakistan to ensure the continued development of the school in the areas of teaching materials, assessment provision, and professional development for teachers.
