Oxford University Press organized a talk on its recent publications Jazeera-e-Sukhanwaran: Tanzia Novelette by Ghulam Abbas and Intikhab: Ghulam Abbas compiled by Asif Farrukhi, on 28 May 2014 at the Oxford Bookshop on Khalid bin Waleed Road, Karachi.Jazeera-e-Sukhanwaran is a popular novella written in satirical and humorous language. The book creates an imaginary situation relating to the lives and art of various Urdu poets.Intikhab: Ghulam Abbas presents a selection from the short stories written by Ghulam Abbas during his long literary career. These stories focus on human nature and how it responds to stress and strong emotions.
