Oxford University Press and Zambeel Dramatic Readings organized dramatic readings from Taoos Chaman ki Mayna on 6 July 2013 at the Oxford Bookshop at Khalid bin Waleed Road in Karachi. Taoos Chaman ki Mayna is Naiyer Masud's endearing tale set in Lucknow in the mid-nineteenth century in the last years of Vajid Ali Shah's reign. The story evokes Lucknow's traditions and culture. Zambeel Dramatic Readings aims to present texts in Urdu and English rendered in their dramatised form.
