How to Participate

In order to register, please fill in the Online Registration Form or printed form provided by Oxford University Press. After submitting the online form, you will receive confirmation via email. Submit the printed form to OUP representative.

This is the fun part!

Using the online form or printed form provided by the Oxford University Press, get your students writing about their reading;
designing a book jacket, writing book reviews, and reflecting on reading — all are a great way of developing students’ reading skills. Be sure to review the criteria carefully with them so they know what they will be assessed on.

Submit the selected five best reviews* from your class. Entries can be sent via post or as a scanned email attachment at the following address:

*Reviews per class (including all sections) should not be more than 5.

The final regional reviews will be evaluated by National Jury Members, who will select three national winners for each level.

The national winning reviews from Asia Education Division will be evaluated by International Jury Members who will select the Asia winners. Exciting prizes can be won. The national winners will get entry to *Asia Education competition.

To participate in the Oxford Big Read Global competition, schools or students on behalf of their schools need to purchase at least 90 books from the Booklist, provided by the OUP representative, between 15 December 2021 and 11 March 2022.

Choose the five best entries from your class (based on highest number of books read).
These entries should be original, age-appropriate, and conceptualized by the students. Each student should read a minimum of five books, the number of books and pages read can be recorded in the Reading Portfolio.

All submitted entries will be judged by the Regional Jury Members.

The final national entries will be submitted for Global competition.
